Behind Closed Doors

Registered Mental Health Counsellor Sheila McMahon has published her lifetime collection of poems.

This personal collection of Sheila’s poems goes behind closed doors to share some of the darkest times in her teens and 20s, to highlight that we are not alone in the way we think.

Sheila hopes by publishing her poetry, especially poems written through episodes of depression and suicidal ideation, will give others who are struggling hope and encouragement to find a way through.

Sheila’s anthology also includes poems about special events, people, and places that have inspired her during her lifetime
